Hello! I’m Brianny Morrison, a bilingual educator, writer, and student success specialist based in Denver, Colorado. I hold a Master’s degree in English (Rhetoric and Composition) and a Bachelor’s in Applied Linguistics from Georgia State University. Currently, I serve as a First-Year Outreach and Retention Specialist at MSU Denver’s College of Business, where I support first-year students in navigating academic challenges and connecting with resources to promote retention and success.
Previously, I worked as an Alumni Advisor at Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School, managing a large caseload of first-generation and underrepresented students. I provided personalized mentorship, academic advising, and career support, including outreach to Spanish-speaking families. I also taught college-level writing at Georgia State University, facilitating both online and in-person courses with a focus on creating inclusive and engaging learning environments.
I bring strong skills in academic advising, educational technology, project management, and bilingual communication, all grounded in a commitment to equity, diversity, and student empowerment.
